Hi.
As i am new to using my airbrush i am unsure which brand of paint to buy for game heads. (been practicing with plain ink on paper)
A friend mentioned a paint that sprays on, then if you get it in the hairs, it just brushes out. She didnt mention the 'brand' and i cant contact her. I am assuming it is a water based paint, but which one?

Samantha,
The paint that your friend is probably referring to is a water-based paint. Water-based paints are easy to use and if you do end up getting it where it doesn't belong,it offers easy cleanup. Water-based paints are not as glossy as the lacquer paints. They are safer to use than lacquer paints because the lacquer thinner is flammable. Both types of paints are offered from: Polytranspar and Wildlife Colors. The supply companies that carry them are: WASCO, Van Dykes and Mc Kenzie just to name a few. Remember to always where a respirator regardless of paints used. Also, being new to air brushes it may possibly be wise to start out with the water-based paints. Ed
