Skull Repair

I recently had a customer bring me a boar skull to clean and after my bugs cleaned it, I noticed the customer must have used a saws-all to cut the head from the neck because there is a saw groove cut into the bottom back of the skull. It isn't super noticeable, but I'd like to repair it if I can. What I sometimes use would be too white. Any ideas?

Some epoxies liek All Game are a near perfect bone colour naturally. You can tint it to any colour you need to get it more the way you want. If the stuff you normally use would be too white - just add some paint of an appropriate colour to match the bone into your epoxy putty during mixing.

Latex, oil, or what?

What kind of paint would I use? Also, does it dry near the same color, darker, or lighter?
