cow skull

i moved to a farm house and found a cow skull out in the pasture. it is already meat-free. how do i rid of parasites?do i bleach or use peroxide? i want to mount it in my living room.what do i do now?

This is called a european mount. If you look to the left column on your screen you should see an orange button that says search. After you click their type in "european mount" and you will get hundreds of responses. But you sound like you have a simple situation that just requires letting it sit in peroxide a while, most taxidermists use 40% hydrogen peroxide available from beauty salons, but my beauty salon wouldn't sell me any (why i don't know, guess they wanted the work) so i found some at a kinectico water supply place for 13 dollars a gallon. Leave it sit in this for four hours. It should be parasite free and snow white. If you do not want to get the 40% stuff you can get 3% at your grocery store and let it sit over night to rid the parasites, then leave it sit in the bright sun for a few days. Two things to note: 40% peroxide will instantaneously turn your skin white and start to burn your skin shortly after. Bleach will "eat" your skull, causing it to be chalky and/or porous.
