Need help removing glued in tusks...any suggestions?

I usually measure teeth before removing them from the skull to make sure I can glue them back the same way using elmer's white glue. This time I glued the bottom tusks in first and they didn't seem to want to go in all the way. I figured, no big deal, the guy will just get back a skull with teeth looking bigger and he will probably like it better that way anyway. The problem is now the jaw won't meet because the teeth don't meet right. Any suggestions for this boar of a project?

Thanks for the tip. I remeasured and the bottom tusks are fine so I will soak the top and remove them and try to push them further in. Thanks again, SD
