I`ve been stuck! I`ve been stuck with a mount of a nice 10 point whitetail from a non-paying customer for several years now,is it legal to sell it in the state of georgia?I`ve contacted the customer upon completion and he never picked it up.Other attempts were unanswered. Its been several years now and I just need to get it out of my way.Is it legal to sell it or am I just stuck with it? Thanks

Yes, you can sell the deer head. Here is an excerpt from the GA.DNR regulations:
(d) It shall be unlawful for a taxidermist to sell any wildlife or
part thereof without the prior written permission of the
commissioner or his designee; provided, however, that it shall not
be unlawful for a taxidermist to mount and sell legally taken
furbearers, deer, and squirrel, or parts thereof.

Thanks
