I am new so forgive my "dumb?" question.........
I am just finishing up my first mount EVER, a black bear shoulder mount, and I need to "darken" up a thin chest. My plan from the beginning was to use "Fabspray" like I saw on a Rinehart video, but I can't find any.
Here is my question....I am looking at Hide Dye in my McKenzie catalog (part no. DS40), how is this applied?
I used the BIG ORANGE BUTTON and got the impression that most hide dye is applied on the flesh side. This obviously won't work for me since the hide is already on the form.
I need advice on a spray and advice on how to use it. Will McKenzie's DS40 work?
Thanks

For bare spots on bears that I find after they are already on the form I go to the local auto parts store and buy a can of vinyl and upholstery dye ( comes in a spray can ) spray the spot and let it dry over night then brush the fur out and the spot is gone...Lisa
Beats the way I have been doing it!1
I live in a small town........hopefully I can find some
