Hey guys I need a big favor if someone has the time. I need a elk paint schedule. Yes I know Jonas has one in there catalog. I have the catalog somewhere. I haven't done an elk in two years and I cant find that book anywhere. I've looked in the shop and at home all day. I need this elk finished by the end of the week. I've searched the archives for the last 3 hours and all I find is look in the Jonas catalog. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,

ELK PAINT SCHEDULE

STEP 1 Putty all holes, cracks, nostrils, ears, etc. with a paintable material such as Magic Sculp.

STEP 2 Always paint colors light to dark. Beginning with Cream #1014, lightly paint around eyes and chin area, only as needed. Also paint duct areas as needed. (Paint will come off eyes later).

STEP 3 Next, use Dark Gold #1011, and spray lightly over the same areas until colors begin to blend with surrounding area.

STEP 4 Using Brown #1012, thoroughly spray ears, nose and lips. Lightly speckle around eyes, only if needed, to blend colors to surrounding area.

STEP 5 Next, using same Brown #1012, carefully spray inside ducts, and then carefully spray eyelids, making sure to shape both symmetrically.

STEP 6 Using Septum Pink #1016, spray inside of nostrils. Let dry.

STEP 7 Using Black #1015, carefully paint eyelids over the Brown, keeping same shape. Spray nose from inside out until desired effect is achieved.

STEP 8 After paint is thoroughly dry, use a soft dry cloth to rub paint out of hair and ears. A hairdryer will help loosen paint from hair. Use a damp paintbrush to wipe paint off eyes, and then buff with a 0-tip until clean.

STEP 9 Using a fine-tip brush, carefully apply Jonas Clear Gloss #1017 to eyelids and inside duct area. Let dry. Cover eyes with clean cloth and spray nose inside and out with a spray clear. Let dry. Hair Sheen may be used to give the mount a finishing touch.

Reference photos are highly recommended.

Hope this is what you wanted. Good Luck!
