seeds on hog

I'm dooing a hog that has seeds all on the bottom and sides that stick to the hair. I've tried brushing them out with a wire brush. It has been tanned and washed and tumbled. Any way other than going hair by hair pulling the seeds off. Thanks,or tell me a site to look at.

the "seeds" you are refering to are bot fly eggs. These are the same yellow dots you see on horse legs. Your best bet is to go to a feed store that sells horse grooming supplies. Ask for a bot knife. It has a serrated edge that will remove the eggs from the hair. They run about $3, or you can pay a lot more in the catalogs.
