I am looking for any information on the proper removal of the horns of a corsican ram. Preferrably from the separation of the hair from the horn, and then on to removing the sheaths from the pedicels. Any/all information much appreciated!

off the cores. Once you have removed the skull plate, place it in a large plastic container (not metal) and fill with water. Place the container downwind and let it soak. After a while, the horn covers will easily slip off the cores. Don't boil, as you will cause the bases of the covers to curl and distort. If the covers still want to cling to the cores, use an oil filter wrench to work them off.
