Dont get too many Axis deer in Michigan so Im a little hazy. The eyes came in and they have a full white band. How much white, if any should show? I also seem to recall their noses are brownish not black. Any help or reference pics would be appreciated.

Sounds like you aren't familiar with the "IQ" type eyes. Check your references on eyes. The nose is brownish grey and you'll need the reference pictures that McKenzie's sells on painting it properly. A note, Axis deer have a very prominent brow and preorbital gland that most forms don't capture. Use those reference pictures closely.
I use Milk Chocolate on the nose. Closest match I could get to me reference.
