mounted a half body black bear two days ago .i have aboutan inch of loose skin on for arms on both sides .do i let just dry or?

You shoulda made relief cuts

This would have allowed you to tuck that skin up into the voids of the form. The only cure I know of is one you've already figured out but don't want to think about.
