I've done a search on this but still don't have an answer.
I have a nose measurement of 8 1/4 from the corner of eye to tip of nose. I would like to use the McKenzie form 6400 Series. My meat on neck measurement is 19 around neck near head. I tried to get a neck measurement 3" down but I would get about 21-23" depending on how I set the head.
My question is on this form my nose measurement would only be 71/4" can I use this? I really don't know the first thing aobut modidfing the nose length....so I'd really appreciate any advice.
Thank you
Leigh

either lengthen the head yourself by cutting off the nose part on the form and lengthening it with two part foam. You would then have to sculpt in the muscle and details on the face again to make it look right.
Or you can go and order an exchange head. Cut of the head on the form and either bondo or foam (I prefer to foam it) on the replacement head. You may have to do some minor sculpting in the neck area for a smooth transition.
Like was said before, you can either lengthen the head, install a change out head, or buy a larger form with the correct head measurement and rasp the neck down to fit your neck.
I think the easiest is to lengthen the head. Basically you cut off the nose through the muzzle area, put a spacer in there and fill the gap with foam, then sand it to blend in. Just be careful if you cut it above the lip line, you need to measure the mouth to make sure it will fit.
