I have customer that wants me to mount a jackalope. My question is do you cut a y incision in the rabbit hide and install the skull plate on the rabbit form like you would a whitetail. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I cut the antlers off at the burr and drill two holes in the base and epoxy two wires into the antler, then cut a small opening in the mounted head and epoxy the antlers in. Since jackalope antlers are usually small this works well.
