are moose beards suppose to be loose on the form? i notice depending on the supplier some of the forms have a big lump on the bottom of the chin for the beard and other ones dont really have anything at all.

The bell really isn't something the form makers want to get into. Most have a "dewlap" sort of bell in varying lengths. Some then and a clapper (or a dingleberry, whichever you feel comfortable with calling it)to their bell. I usually build mine in with a piece of paneling cut to size and Bondoed into place.
excuse my terminology, i have heard it called to many things by different people. i thought that the dewlap shaped thing was the beard and the bell was hanging down from it.
