Pheasant pelt

I want to preserve a couple of pheasant pelts just to hang, nothing fancy. What is the process once I have cleaned the pheasant.

I would just dry preserve them.

I would lay them out flat and spread out some dry preservative on the skin side and let it dry. Bird skins are very thin and dry fast.

Remove all the meat from the skin , wings and head and then use borax on it . Let dry , done . Then buy some bug spray because your first attempt will attract insects . You can also click on the orange button for more info . Rick
