Fox Ears?

Hi,
I am about to do a grey fox mount and was wanting to know the best stuff to use for the ear liners. I don't want to spend the money to order them from a warehouse so I am trying to find how to make my own. This mount is not for a customer so it is not like if I mess up it is someones trophy. I am just trying to make him look as good as possible. I was thinking about a thin plastic and shape it with a little heat from a heat gun.
Any sug.
Thanks

Charley, Don,t get me wrong here, I've made my own liners for small game using everything from small screen to to coffee can lids, BUT; If it's true what you said that you want it to look the best you can, then order some. They're only 3.95 from McKenzie for crying out loud, and they will be correct and consistent. Isn't four or five bucks more worth the extra quality? Unless you are maybe using a pose that puts the ears in an unusual pose.
Having said that, you certainly can use something else. Just use a good adhesive and reference to get em as correct as you can. Have fun, Carl

After your post and thinking about it I just ordered some from Van Dykes $2.79.
Thanks a lot
Charley
