My question is do they make a skull plate for a Elk?
And if so who might I check with.
And if not can it be made from materials we use everyday in our business.
And what is a cost efficient way to attach the shed antlers that I have to the skull plate.
Thanks for your advice and help.

just recieved one from Van Dyke the other day, they have two styles, one metal the other cast. the cast one is cheaper and is the one i used, just drill a hole into the antler and fill with 5-minute epoxy, insert onto the lag bolts cast into the skull plate. helps to have someone to help get them on straight though. McKenzie has one of the metal bases but they are right proud of it.
Research Mannikins makes some decent skulls. You have to put a piece of all thread rod up into each horn. They you need to drill out the bases of the skull larger so that you have some room to adjust the angles. I then fill with resin and chopped fiberglass from the bottom, and blend the seem between the antler and fake skull with epoxy putty.
