Getting ready to do an Elk W/rack.I have done smaller game ,Bobcats Coyotes etc,in the beatle tank.My question is, It's a 50 gal tank,but I know the rack is going to stick above .Is there anything I can coat the antler with to keep them beatles in the tank.(I plan on cutting plywood with holes for antlers on the top.)
I have soaked boar skulls in water,and it worked fine,just a bit smelly. Would like to keep the colony of beatles working, and the smell down a bit.

I did 10 elk euro's this year and boiled all of them. Its quicker and doesn't stink as much and you don't have to worry about critters.
