You don't need a device, in the mount, if this is a pedestal mount, you can hide the wire better, just install a speaker in the back of the throat, with the wire coming out of the back of the form. Now this would be connected to your sound unit, a tape or cd player, or game calling unit, with a remote control, which he can operate from anywhere in the room.
Now if the mount is going on the wall, then he is asking for some sort of remote control device, installed in the form. You can still put the speaker at the back of the throat, the tongue should help hide it so you can't see it back there, and down the throat a little. Run the wire to the back of the form, but now you will have to cut out an area of the back board.
Look around for a small game caller with the remote control, there are several out there varying in price, cut out the foam behind the back board so the device fits in the hole. Now just buy a panel and attach it to the form. If the unit has a charger with it, you will have to leave the end of the connection somewhere, you can get to it and connect the charger, if it has batteries, you will need to cut the panel, install counter sunk hinges and a latch. Then all he will need to do, is take it off the wall, and put in new batteries. But if he is wanting this, talk him into going with a unit that has a battery charger. I would still cut the little entry door in the back of the panel, just in case he wanted to access the device, and add a new tape or cd, with some extra sounds.
I forgot to mention, you can also buy motion detection devices to use, so when anyone gets to within a certain distance, they will activate the sound device.
