Can some please tell me a good way to rehydrate a deer skin for mounting. I've always used wet tans before but I just received a dry tan that I need to prep. Any help would be appreciated.

1 handfull of salt per gallon of water (cool) approx 3 , a capful of basicryl soak 30 mins and remove , ring out by hand and sweat over night in the refridge in a plastic bag, next day its rehydrated.
