Im new to taxidermy and I have a pair of sheds that I would like to do an antler mount with. The sheds are fresh and still have good coloring. What should I do to them to keep them that way and should I use like a gloss or something to give them that shiny look?

If they are fresh as you say you will only ruin them by putting something on them. Think of it this way, when they were ON the deer were they glossed?
It's only a temporary treatment. But will give them that live natural look. Buy it where ever cleaning products are sold.
