Rick, there's nothing wrong with being dumb....

..as long as you don't advertise it. I may be a lot of things, but words and animals aren't included in that. I'd suggest YOU learn to spell before you type. The Afrikaner spelling of this animal is "tsessebee" and is pronounced the same way with the "t" being slipped in as a slight inflection. Apologies will be accepted only on lambskin with gilded letters.

Here's a link for BOTH of you

Tsessebi, Tsessebe, Topi, Sassaby

The Tsessebi is a cousin to the Bleskbok. The taxon assignment lists it as Damaliscus lunatus lunatus, or the standard for the species. There are several subspecies: D.l.topi, D.l.korrigum, D.l.jimcia, D.l.tiang. UNEP's World Conservation Monitoring Center lists the English spelling both ways, Tsessebi and Tsessebe.

You can use the Topi, Sasseby, Korrigum or Tiang as reference, since the sub-species are so similar that any would provide reference regarding eye, ear, mouth and other details. They are also called Brun Ko-antilope.
