velvet cleaning question

I have a customer with a big mule deer killed in the 70's that is in bad need of cleaning. The buck was killed in velvet and the antlers need cleaning as much or more than the rest of the head. What is recomended for cleaning the antlers?

Thanks
Rob

We clean blood and other junk off of caribou antlers with plan old windex then blow it off with copressed air.

Just use a pressure washer, that should blow everything off

Wouldn't a pressure washer remove that also ? You have to be careful cleaning the velvet so as not to damadge it . A soft toothbrush and mild soap used gentley works for me. Bradlee
