can anyone help me with this? The strip of hair between the boss on the muskox was not with it when i recieved it, what should i do or use to fill this area in? thanking you in advance!

Very few skinners leave this hair. I just pluck some of the whitish hair found above the shoulders, trim it to about one inch and glue this in between the boss.
You can also take a strip of skin from any where on the muskox and trim the hair to the right length,sew this in place and mount as usual.When you trim the hair to length,you are left with the under-wool,which is just the right color and texture.Keith is right,you don't often get one with the strip attached.
