I'm preparing a boar hide to send to a tannery (my first one). I salted it sunday morning and I'm on my fourth day of salting and it still seem a little moist and not drying from the neck down. Do i have anything to be concerned about? When I think moist,.... I think chance for spoil! is that right?

I put 4 into the salt Monday and they are dried 80% hard today.
It sounds like you didnt thin them enough.
