I am expecting to receive a boar hide back from the tannery in a day or two. Once i rehydrate the hide i plan on making some repairs on cuts and holes etc. I'm only planning on repairing the hide for now and will mount it in a few weeks. Should i do the repair before rehydrating or, if i do rehydrate it, do i have to freeze it once i repair it?

rehydrate, freeze, thaw, repair, mount. Or, if you are just really wanting to repair it now, then rehydrate, repair, freeze, thaw, mount.
