& blow it off with alot of air pressure.

You can wash it with any Hair shampoo, it will be a pain in the butt to do but I wash all of mine & they come out clean & smelling very nice, Make sure to rince it thouroghly, then blow it off & start grooming. & be prepaired to do it for a while.
A lot of the Loose hair will be removed as you are grooming so dont worry when you have a pile under the mount.
Blowing it with air will help dry out hair.

Good luck

Car Wash

Take the cape to the car wash and blast the crud out of the hair. I recently did this to a bison cape (after it was tanned) and it worked like a charm. Then take home, spin if possible, blow with compressed air and mount. Good luck!
