Hi, I just got a set of antlers from a friend whose brother shot the animal in the head. Part of the base of the antler at the to of the skull broke off but he glued the piece back on. But some of the burs on the base of the antlers were completely shot off. How can I create antler burs? I was thinking bondo and a dremmel tool to recreate the burs. Then paint them. I think I can match the paints pretty good using Acrylic Paints.
P.S. Should I use any matte non-yellowing laquer on my antlers when I am finished with them?
I am really new at this and would appreciate any help.

And a modeling tool and a wet artist paint brush. Or you can mold it with a Putty Silicon and push the mold into the wet Apoxy.
