I used a friendly flesher in the school that I went to. I'm not sure if it was made by Frontier. They also had the dakota and quebec. Out of those I liked the friendly flesher the best. When I started I talked to a lot of people on this web site who all said look at the eager beaver. I bought the eager beaver and I love it. It is extremely adjustable and quiet. If I had not bought the eager beaver I would have got the friendly flesher. I think you would be happy with either. When I looked at the different machines I think the friendly flesher was about $1200. The eager beaver was $1400-1500 depending on the model. If you know someone who has one try it out. I think a lot of it is personal preference. I'm sure you will get a bunch of of opinions on here. I think they all work fine if once you get used to them.
