I now have, from the tannery, a caribou cape that has slipped under each eye the size of 1/2 a credit card. What would be the best way to fix the defect? Should I cut the area out and get a smaller n-e form, or can this be patched somehow? What have you heard or done. Any suggestions would be great...... Frank

Frank, I'm guessing the lack of any answers is because there is no way to repair that size of damage on the face. Those are huge areas to try and cut out and still have everything come together - even if you shorten the form (which would look really bad in my opinion). I would get a new cape.
