Before everybody jumps I have done my homework and cannot find the answers I seek.
1- Do you cape a mouflon, starting w/ a Y insion. It only makes sense but want to make sure.
2- Is there a paint schedule somewhere.
As far as removing the horns I fell good about that, enough info in the archives, just not to sure about caping and painting.
Thanks, Bill

A "Y" incision will work fine. I use Lifetone's dark brown (almost black) for the nose and eyelids. A mist of black umber in the ears are okay too. A light pine stain on the horns followed by a satin clear coat makes them nice.
Thanks for the tip, will be a few weeks before I get started but just trying to get a heads up now.
Thanks again, Bill
There is a product out called antler and horn conditioner . I think I bought mine from Research . I use this on all my antelope , Rams , etc . If you have a weathered set of horns that you need to bring some color into then start looking at different stains .
