Any suggestions for removing buffalo horns from skulls for shoulder mounts? Horns have been cut off leaving a portion of skull attached. Thanks

put them in a bucket of water and wail a week or two. they will fall right off. dont boil them.
since the buffalo horns are hair, wouldn't the horns start to fall apart?
