I have had a couple customers bring me a sika buck and also buffalo.They let me practice and weren't worried about the outcome. But I have had a lot of trouble w/ hair slippage. Is there something that needs to be done to these capes that I'm not doing. The hide is alot thicker than the animals I'm used to. Is a good tannery my bset best.

If your doing your own tanning and your having problems, then yes I would send them out.
There a bit harder to work with and a good tannery (East Coast Tannery) will do you wonders for those hides.
