Hi, I just got a set of sable horns that are on the headplate. It was taken in 1985. I need to remove them from the headplate. How do I do that? thanks.

I am soaking them in hot water. I just need to remove them to make shofars. I have never done anything like this. I grew up in the woods in minnesota and these are different for me. thanks...
