i do lots of deer elk ect, but my first texas dall sheep, got the cape back from tannery and the nose is black and white "splotches", i guess i did not look at the color of it close enough before sending it out. I am assuming I would paint it the same, both "black and white" like following the pattern on a fish? thanks tommy

I have done a few Texas Dalls and most had pink flesh noses.
If yours came from the tannery black and white I would think that it probably was flesh and dark brown while living.
Sometimes my customers want them black like the Alaska Dall, they like that look with the white hair - I give them the choice.
