I mounted an antelope for the first time about 3 weeks ago. Today I started the finish work and noticed more shedding than I am used to as I brushed it down. Is this a common thing with antelope? It is a commercially tanned cape. Most of the hair seems to be tight and it appears to look fine. Just wondering.

Greg If the hair is breaking that is normal it shouldnt pull out. I do all my groming on antelope with the air hose that way you dont break the hair.
