Corsican ram wool

Submitted by Terry on 8/16/05 at 9:08 AM. ( ) 206.16.215.129

Can anyone suggest a way to remove all the matted wool from the coat of this ram? I figured that combing it out is the only way, but was wondering if anyone out there have any other ideas or suggestions that might make this easier. Thanks

That's actually what the wool and cotton mills use to comb their raw products with anyway.

Just finished a lifesize and used a wire brush, the long ones with about 1" wire. Must have taken out enough wool to fill a pillow. Then finish with a metal comb. Paul
