Moose meat from Canada

I have a couple of friends heading to Canada to hunt moose next week. They asked me about any troubles bringing meat back across the border. I know there was a ban last year sometime but haven't heard if it was for sure lifted or if there were any restrictions. Thanks for your help

Hi dear,
i contacted Custom (fish and wild life) and they told me there is no restrictions bringing moose meat from Canada to Usa, they just have to stop at the custom border and fill out a paper, hope this help and if you have more questions , their phone number is: 581 298 8346 (Champlain border)

I think it still needs to be de-boned and the skull plate needs to be clean due to CWD issues.
