I have to decide on valuation of an African Male Lion Head and full skin cured and mounted by one of Africa's famous and able taxidermist-Zimmerman.This valuation is required for insurance purposes.Remember Lions are now endengered species and export of this item from one country to another is prohibited.

It's value will also be governed by where it is located. If it's too far from "potential" buyers, the value is less, because to have a value it must have some base of buyers. The best way to determine the value is to try to find another one for sale, that will give you a potential value. But as Mark stated above, condition is EVERYTHING.
