what is the safest ,easiest way to remove horns? boil? or do they have to be removed before mounting? will they rot? thanks

Just put them in a plastic bag close tight and leave them a couple days. Boiling them will really mess them up.

so you want them to rot to loosen horns? also hide has a natural slight white, yellow , pink color before tanning. do most people bleach?

You should be able to get mountain goat horns in the microwave, that's how I do all antelope, quick and not very messy if you do them fresh.
