sorry about that its been a long night, need to know how to measure capes all the same way or differntly,

Thanks Again
Randy
They are all the same; almost every taxidermy supply book has instructions on how to measure capes to match forms. It is a small picture for guys that can't read. These instructions show you the a,b,c measurements and some show d,e,f measurements also. I'm sure you have a catalog from some supply house by now don't you? If you are starting out, get a form 1) smaller then the neck size so you sew it up EASY. Keep the eye to nose size the same.
coyotehunter,
coyotehunter,
Sorry I hit the enter button on the last response. Anyway, I think I know what you mean. You only have the capes and not the carcas. In that case, lay the hide out (skin side out) flat and measure across just below the ears for the circumference and add an inch. Meaure from tip of nose on the fur side to the corner of the eye for your eye to nose measurements. This should give you close meaurements
