Dermestid Beetle Tips

Can anybody give me any tips for safe handling of Dermestid beetles? I'd like to keep them in their tanks and not invite them into my home. The beetle shed is 400 ft. from the house. They are in stainless steel tanks. I need to know the safest way to remove skulls from the tanks without letting the beetles out also. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Drop the cleaned skull in a bucket filled with water/borax

Or simply set them in a tub filled with borax powder. Borax is a consumate bug eliminator. BUT, it you find they'd missed a spot, don't put the skull back into the bugs. Borax is indiscriminate and will continue to work regardless of where it is.
