Just read a tip today in an outdoors magazine. Once the surface they are in is all dry - most hitch-hikers etc lose some of their cling. So dry the cape, and use.. ready for this? A DOG COMB! One of those metal combs used for brushing dogs coats apparently work really well for removing stuff like that from wool jackets - might help on your cape.
you're just going to have to take your time and get them out, you try to hurry the process up or get the cart before the horse and you're going to pull hair
A curry comb or dog hair comb is really too short toothed to work well. Buy you a furriers comb and they lift right out.

cool double sided metal comb, says its designed for pulling out burrs and such. Does WASCO have anything like this? if they do i couldnt find it on the website. Good luck, I could never handle ticks and burrs. Peace, love, and happiness ~SAM
Have you tried a wire brush ? I use this to remove the ticks once the skin dries . Rick
like you use on horses to brush the mane and tail. Works wonders.

i hope to return one of youre questions one day
