I took in a nice 8 point today, Black nose, dark brown forhead, black on the back of neck, black brisket. And the cape took three neck shots, in and out, 6 holes in all. The customer warned me that I would need to get the needle out.
Can anybody top this hole count in a deer cape for this season?

Well me and some friends in Augest shoot a deer four times, twice behind the shoulder, once in the front shoulder and the last shot through the neck. The deer looked like swiss cheese and there wasn't much meat left.
....Is the $$$$ I charge them when I have to sew that crap up.
I've refused work like that before and I'll do it again. Especially if the wise ass tells me I need to get the needle out. I tell the nech shot specialists that they're jerks to begin with and that I don't need a needle, he needs a new hide. That extra $200 gets the message across and I enjoy hearing them say they're taking it someplace else. I know what "someplace else's" work looks like. I'll live with a single shot, but two shotgun slugs and a cut throat that came in last week, all on the same deer, certainly got this jerks attention. And then he tried to impress me by telling me he was a cop. I told him with marksmanship skills like his, drug dealers surely had the upper hand. And you know, he still left the deer. You just can't run some people off.

besides messing up the capes
they leave deer wounded everywhere they go

THAT IS A COMMUN DEER, AN EIGHT POINT THAT IS NOT HAVE NOTHING TO SAY NICE AND WITH THOSE HOLES ON THE NECK, I WILL SAY TO THOSE GUYS TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE OR IT WILL COST THEM AT LEAST $ 100 FOR REPAIRS, I DO NOT LIKE TO DEAL WITH JERKS WICH ALWAYS SAY I'M GOING TO TAKE MY DEER TO SOMEELSE AND MY RESPONSE IS I DO NOT CARE WHERE YOU GO. I got one in last week with a baseball hole in the neck shot with buckshot (close) and 23 double 00 holes.
BETWEEN THE EYES.(Thank God for reserches repair skull plates.) yep 30-06 between the eyes and I have a nice repair bill for him
I shot a Doe this Gun season in the top of the HEad and the Slug exited through her left Ear... I think the Slug must of deflected of a Twig... I was aiming mid way u the Body towards the front. She was slightly quartering to my right. Did'nt want to mount it or anything.
