i just got my first buck last week and want to mount the head and i cut it to far down the chest can it be sewed. can i still mount it .thank u. roger

As long as all the hide is there you can repair just about anything. Once I had a cuctomer bring in a buffalo, cut for a rug , then wanted a shoulder mount. It was cut from the bottom lip,chin, neck and brisket to lay flat. It took quite some time for sewing, but turned out great. Your project doesn't seem to be too bad. Good luck HAPP
