Checking for antlers clearing the wall, tip.

While the antlers a set on the form, screw a 1'X 2'X 60"on to the back of the form in the center of the form. One screw is all you need

Now just swing the bord thru the arch like a windscreen wiper blade.

If the board hits the antlers, reset the skull plate.

Why not just attatch antlers and hang the form on the wall? Or, place back of form on the floor and check antler clearance to floor.

Sure that will work, but you have to take the form down.

Yes I too have done that, but you have to take the form off the mounting stand. Then if you dont have them set correctly you are stuck wrestling the form and antlers trying to get them set.

It is a lot easier just to screw that strip of wood on the form that is on the mounting stand, in 10 seconds with your power drill and a #2 phillips bit, you can see if you need to change the antler set.

IMHO the stick is easier, quicker and saves you time and time is money!

You cannot take the form off the mounting stand in 10 seconds.
