Last time I tried that the dang thing kicked me in my shin! LOL, I sue a fleshing machine and a skife knife.

Sean, Lots of difference from one machine to the next. First off---learn on an extra cape or one of your own. If you mess up a customer's deer after reading this it's your doing. In my opinion the turbo tip is too much for face work, the 25 degree tip and somewhat lower pressure is a better choice. Careful of eye lashes and lips, place the head skin over a tapered board similar to a fleshing beam and work the scalp and sides. The rest is better done with a knife, I think. If you skin the head out carefully there should not be much to flesh on the head anyway. You are not going to save much time in the head area unless you do the eyes and nose and if you DO these you are more likely to spend even more time repairing. My thoughts, Aaron H.
