Deer Forms

I had a customer come in today with a deer head to mount and he proceeded to tell me he has another head being done by another taxidermist. He said the taxidermist is charging him $75 more because this is a "third rib back" form to show more shoulder. My question is: has anybody else ever heard on this kind of form? I looked in all my catalogs and unless I'm missing something I don't see anything different in any of the forms that would show more shoulder than normal. Just curious.

Thanks,

Mike

Way back when? If you look at some of the older forms from most all suppliers the forms only came back a few inches from the base of the neck. Most of the newer forms go a few more inches back. Good example of this is the Rinehart taxidermy supply forms. VS the McKenzie forms. Have a good one! Joe
