Have a salt dried pronghorn cape with some blood on the white chest, and was just wondering is this cape is ruined or if i can get the blood out some how? Plan to send it to a tannery soon. Checked the search button already with little results.
Any ideas?

Prongs have hollow hair and blood accumulated on the hair is sucked up inside the hair itself. Osmosis prevents it from being "sucked" out and even bleaching is sometimes ineffective. I warn my customer/hunters about allow that practice. Make sure the "goat" is allowed to set in puddled blood.
