I have always used Rienhart Tanning Cream on my Whitetail. I just ran out of my reserves a few weeks ago. Opened my new gallon to tan a cape and noticed that the smell of the cream had changed. I called McKenzie with my concern and was told that the formula had changed slightly. I used it and as my whitetail is in its last few days of drying it does not have that clean pasty smell I have come to love. As a matter of fact it has a kind of oily all most sour smell. No slippage so I think I,m ok but it still tweaks my mellon. Has anyone else had similiar concerns, and have they found a replacement that represents the old cream better? Perhaps the new McKenzie Tan?

McKensie tan. Easy to brush on, and the hide looks great. Never had a problem with it.
